Second in the series, second I've read - even though I'm working my way backwards because that's what I do (sometimes). Circumstances led me to reading the third book in this series first (The Fourth Reich). Despite a few misgivings about the character style and interaction it was still a most enjoyable thriller of the global domination threat type that at the time I promised myself a chance to read the earlier two in the series. The opportunity to pick up the second therefore raising it's head was grasped over Easter when visitors and an overwhelming obsession with board games took up time that would normally be devoted to feet up / reading.

The prints belong to a criminal that is currently not listed as in the country and a foreign diplomat who disappeared a year ago.
And are the four Beijing police officers that are guests of the USA to study, the same four officers that left Beijing?
It’s a rough and violent ride for Mitchell Parker and his team against the ocean and the clock.
