Andy Shea
Already acclaimed as one of Australia's best new authors, ex-London cop turned crime writer Andy Shea has had a life almost as exciting as the fiction he crafts. He started his career as a policeman in London where he worked as Police Constable 115HB attached to Bethnal Green police station in the heart of the notorious East End. He left the police force to pursue a career in journalism and has been churning out the words ever since. Andy has written for a host of national and international newspapers, magazines and wire services covering everything from three Olympic Games, to the conflict in the former Yugoslavia, serious crime stories, and the odd village fete. Now on his third passport, Andy has lived and worked as a journalist all over the world, in countries as diverse as the United States, Australia, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and England.
