Should really know better than to read these sorts of teaser collections. It always seems to led to a bigger must be bought list. In this case, a wide selection of Edgar Award winning novels with something to tempt everyone. Including examples from more well known writers including Ruth Rendell, Michael Crichton, Stuart Kaminsky, Lawrence Sanders, there were others from those less well know to this reader such as R.D. Rosen, William L De Andrea and Peter Blauner.
