"The best way to blend in is to stand out."

A twisted tale about Feng Shui, vampires, drinking, pet psychiatry, genocide, belief and mortality... In this darkly comic, slow-burn fantasy thriller, nothing is as it seems. A nightclub opening becomes a fight for life and the discovered fountain of youth hides a movement to exterminate a race.

Robin Baker

I have always enjoyed writing ever since I was able to. I started to take the craft seriously toward the end of high school and began studying Creative Writing at University in 2000 (I also studied film, acting, social psychology, both ancient and contemporary philosophy and later completed a post-graduate degree in secondary teaching). I worked briefly as a high school English teacher before becoming a funeral director where I worked for almost six years. I currently work at a University in Perth and write book reviews for a local newspaper.
