About the Author
Inga Simpson is the winner of a Scarlet Stiletto Award for her short story 'Operation Bluewater', which was subsequently published in Scarlet Stiletto: The First Cut. She is also the author of entries in the DLB (Dictionary of Literary Biography) on Australian writers Gillian Mears and Marele Day. Inga was recently awarded a PhD in Creative Writing for her thesis on detective fiction, which included her novel, Fatal Development. She is currently working on a speculative fiction novel. Inga lives in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, where she runs the writers' retreat, Olvar Wood, with Nike Bourke.
