Currently Reading - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Stieg Larsson
I've been looking forward to this book, very very very much looking forward to this book. This is the first of three novels by crusading liberal journalist Stieg Larsson, who died shortly after the three novels were delivered to his Swedish publisher. Alas he is not alive to see the level of interest and praise that THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO is garnering.
"The trial was irretrievably over; everything that could be said had been said, but he had never doubted that he would lose. The written verdict was handed down at 10.00 on Friday morning, and all that remained was a summing up from the reporters waiting in the corridor outside the district court."

Whoops - sorry, so far I've not created an entry for this book in the database. It could be because it's not from Australasia - in which case I may never add extra information (otherwise maintaining this thing will kill me!) If it is a local book - fear not, I'm just behind as usual.
