Currently Reading - The Curse of the Golden Yo-Yo, Robin Bowles
Robin is a local author, well known for her many true crime books, but The Curse of the Golden Yo-Yo is her first crime non-fiction book - flagged as "A Cornelia Finnigan Mystery". Slowly, the other bidders' heads turned, as if on a joint axis, to study the tall young woman in an emerald silk mini-shift, whose carroty curls blazed above almost every other head in the crowd. She'd just topped the previous bid by five thousand dollars. 'Sold - to the young lady in the back row!' yelled the auctioneer, a whack of his gavel endorsing the decision."
