Currently Reading - The Burning Wire, Jeffery Deaver
Ahem.... system still working. I'm so proud of myself at the moment, normally I can't remember the new "system" for more than 10 minutes - but so far I'm managing to catch up on some review books that perhaps I wouldn't normally get around to picking up.
From the Blurb:
Manhattan's electricity grid has been the victim of a horrific attack ... and more are planned.
Opening Lines:
Sitting in the control center of Algonquin Consolidated Power and Light's sprawling complex on the East River in Queens, New York, the morning supervisor frowned at the pulsing red words on his computer screen.
Critical failure.
Whoops - sorry, so far I've not created an entry for this book in the database. It could be because it's not from Australasia - in which case I may never add extra information (otherwise maintaining this thing will kill me!) If it is a local book - fear not, I'm just behind as usual.
