Kris Wyld presents the 18th Scarlet Stiletto Awards & talks to Lindy Cameron about her life in crime
Kris Wyld has co-written and co-produced some of Australia’s grittiest crime dramas, including Wildside, White Collar Blue, East West 101, and The Strip, collecting numerous gongs along the way.
Altogether in the past 13 years, Kris has co-produced over 130 hours of multi-award-winning crime drama. For Wildside, Kris won the 1999 AFI Award for ‘Best Episode in a TV Series’. She was also nominated for an AFI Script Award for Episode 2, East West 101 which, in 2008, won both AFI ‘Best Mini Series’ and AWGIES, ‘Best Mini Series Scripts’. Kris also co-produced the ABC documentary Who Killed Dr Bogle and Mrs Chandler? which took out the Logie for Best Documentary in 2006. Lindy Cameron is a national co-convenor of Sisters in Crime and the author of the Bryn Gideon and Kit O'Malley series as well as several true crime books.
