The shortlists for this year’s Davitt Awards, presented by Sisters in Crime Australia for the best crime and mystery books by Australian women in 2012, have been announced. The shortlisted titles in each category are:

AustCrime - April Wrap Up

April, apart from finishing off one book, was 100% Australian author month. Half way through the month it dawned on me that in 2006, when I got the first version of this site up and running, it was a bit tricky to fill an entire month's reading with local books - even with a bit of back catalogue re-reading.
